This course is designed to improve the anaesthesia knowledge of veterinary nurses and will be at an appropriate level for nurses in both referral and general practice. The emphasis will be on understanding the basic equipment and drugs involved in anaesthesia and then formulating considerations for anaesthesia in different situations.

The programme consists of six theoretical modules and two practical modules. The six theoretical modules are split into three x 2 hour live stream sessions over three consecutive days. These live streams are scheduled to start at 18.00 GMT and 20.00 GMT. The two practical sessions will be delivered via attendance at our practical site in Thurles Co. Tipperary. 

Delegates will also benefit from the online learning platform Moodle where they will have access to additional online study skills lessions, course notes and reference materials.
